The problem of multidrug resistant bacteria is ever growing. The extreme overusage and misuse of antibiotics has led to multiple strains of infections that doctors have no cure for. If the resistance continues at it's current rate, the projected death rate of antimicrobial resistant infections will be 10 million by the year 2050. To say this issue needs recognition is an understatement, this needs to be solved before the public health "ticking time bomb" detonates. This problem is plagued by lack of empathy by patients, doctors, pharmaceutical companies and the government.
